The Marlin Chaser

The Marlin Chaser is a luxury catamaran located in Laguna Gri-Gri in Rio San Juan on the north coast of the Dominican Republic.

The crew consists of our highly experienced captain and his 1st mate. This 32 ft. catamaran with 14 ft. beam has 2 x 300 horsepower engines, and is fully equipped with top of the line, state-of-the-art equipment including depth finder, fishing gear, fishing chair, fly bridge, etc.

The Marlin Chaser is available for deep sea fishing and whale watching. Want to explore the surrounding local beaches? Hop aboard The Marlin Chaser and don't forget to bring your snorkeling gear! Our captain will take you on a day trip to cruise the north coast beaches or Silver Banks, stopping along the way for swimming, snorkeling and other water activities. Bring your favorite bottle of champagne or wine or allow us to choose one for you to enjoy for a sunset toast with your significant other, family and friends. 

All rods and reels are included, as well as the live bait and lures you’ll use on the day. Even your fishing license is included. You can order a lunch with the captain before the trip for a small additional cost, or bring your own. Snacks and drinks are on board.

Marlin Chaser is one of the rare charter companies on the North Coast of the Dominican Republic that can take you offshore fishing out of the Silver Bank, the birthing ground of the humpback whale. Expect the unexpected in this area; you’ll never know what you’ll run into in these bountiful waters, and the fishing is truly awesome.
